About Sophia

Sophia: General Knowledge is a mobile learning app. It gives you short lessons, a quiz after each one, and a few minutes of daily practice. It is built for anyone who wants to learn a little every day without setting aside an evening.

The app is published by Vik Studios SAS, a French company. Vik Studios writes and designs every lesson in the app.

Sophia is free to download. It runs on iPhone and iPad through the App Store, and on Android phones and tablets through Google Play. Any recent phone will do.

Lessons cover history, science, society, geopolitics and culture. Each field is split into themed guides of five chapters. A chapter takes a few minutes and ends with a quiz.

The method is simple: read a short chapter, answer a quiz, then review later through spaced repetition. Progress shows up as a daily streak and as ranks, from Curious to Scholar. The point is a habit, not a cram session.

Sophia: General Knowledge is a mobile learning app published by Vik Studios SAS, a French company. It is not related to the Sophia humanoid robot, to Sophia University in Tokyo, or to the sophia health programme run by France's Assurance Maladie.
